You may have noticed a change in Trck.me, and it’s the beginning of a new era for simplified tracking. I’ve expanded the stats we collect to give you daily views. This makes for a few cool new things:
You can now select any date, especially yesterday. This was one of our top requests, a yesterday button. Because after all if you weren’t there at midnight you wouldn’t see how many hits you got that day. And better yet you can pick any day to view it’s stats.
Last week is based on the last 7 days, not since Monday. If you still want to see the stats for Monday through today, you can select that on the calendar too. But most people wanted stats for the last rolling 7 days, not the stats since Monday.
Going forward I’m looking into making it so you can compare stats. For example you could compare this week to last week, or this month to last month. That would be a cool way to know if you’re doing better or worse for any given squeeze page, advertising source, etc.
What I need from you guys is some good feedback. There are a few bugs here and there that I’m squashing, but ultimately you should find it quick and easy to use!
It took a long time to get this to work quickly. We’ve had over 30GB of tracking data, and finding the way to pull the results and sort them instantly turned into quite the learning process. I’m confident now you’ll get the tracking you need, and we’ll be able to deliver the data quickly!
Hooray! Awesome news!
I really like the new changes. One bug I saw was pinning tool seems to not keep those urls pinned to the top or first page. Great work, keep it up.
hey tim, this is music to my ears! i really missed the three day view we created sooooo long ago – had to switch trackers cos it was essential for how I worked. I haven’t logged in to see the changes but it sounds like i’ll be switching back soon :-) thank you!
Yes, these are great news and show us we are in the right track with the right people.
Best regards!
The only thing I am kinda missing is an easy “all time” view…. granted, I know I can sorta do that with the custom dates, but that’s my primary point of interest besides the thing I wanted for so long which was the “last month” stats (which now I know I can also do with the custom dates). If you were going to tweak anything else a one-click look at all-time and previous month stats is all I’d request, but the new system as it is is certainly workable. Good on ya, Tim!
Yup those are coming ;-)
I was so excited when I logged in and saw the changes! I had always wanted to be able to select a custom date range. The only thing I miss is “THIS WEEK”. I actually did want to see the week since Monday. Now I have to put in the custom dates. For me, it would be great if it would remember or I could save my custom date range so I don’t have to put it in every time since all week I want to see since Monday. Thanks! Love love love being able to pick the range to see!
The new changes look great! However, what I miss is my all-time data. I had a lot of data accrued for many TEs, but now all I am able to see is the last month. I hope you will include a way for me to see all my data since the date I created my trackers. I use this data a lot, so I wouldn’t want to have to start all over! Thanks in advance! :-)
Great work on providing great new tools
Awesome changes. Just what I wanted. Thanks!
I think it’s time to go exploring!
thanks Tim great blog
Tim how do I get the tracking system on my website, I very new at this, can you help me?
There is so much to help me here with trckme, thanks everyone at TimTech
I only recently started seriously tracking my ads. I like the way Trck.me keeps in seriously simple. Shelayne
I really like Trck.me. I’ve been using it for months now and it’s great, a simple and clean interface is exactly what I was looking for. I especially like the ability to track banner views and clicks, this is perfect for split testing.
Learning something new with it all the time.
Always nice to have more info on things. :)
Thanks Tim!
I’ve used this feature to daily changes to my lead ad and structure it to do like a Monday start of the week ad. Just love how easy it is to use.
